The craft of Improvisation is much more than “audience suggestions” & wacky sketches. Tim O’Malley brings decades of teaching improv in addition to his training from Second City Chicago to Chicago Actor Studio.
Many don’t know that Improv is an extremely effective tool for: connecting with our fellow performers, letting go of preconceived assumptions, all while accessing an actor’s creativity & imagination.
These tools assist actors in auditions, rehearsals, & performances.
Having confidence is a must & Tim will encourage students to: trust their instincts, receive with gratitude & support their fellow performers.
Through a progressive series of exercises, actors will learn how to: access emotion, construct environments, craft original characters in the moment & structure performances. Performers will walk away more dynamic & skillful practitioners of their craft. Imagine that?!
